Normandale Preschool Student, Mason Gibbons wins Novice Chess Tournament Trophy
Mason Gibbons, son of Erica and John Gibbons, competed in the SCA Statewide Grade Level Chess Tournament on February 25, representing Normandale Preschool . This was Mason’s first time playing in a tournament. He competed in the kindergarten bracket along with 21 other students. Mason played 5 rounds, winning 3 matches and losing 2. The tournament was held at Capitol Hill Magnet School in St. Paul. Each player represents his or her school and Mason was proud to be representing Normandale Preschool.

- Complete a registration form. Please be sure to put a first and second choice class.
- Place your registration form in a sealed envelope and return it in person or by mail to the preschool office by Friday, January 13.
- Registration forms will be randomly drawn by Preschool committee members. You will be notified as soon as possible of your child’s class placement.
